Assignment for Wednesday, Jan. 29

Here is what to do for today:
  1. Review Chinese zodiac.  Click here.  Pay attention to the order of the 12 animals.
  2. Watch a video about Spring Festival.  Click here.  Write down all the vocabularies introduced in the video in both Pinyin and English on a piece of paper.
  3. Watch a video about Nian.  Click here.  Write down a summary of the story in English when you are done on a piece of paper.
  4. Watch a video about Chinese Dumplings.  Click here.  Write down the information you learned from the video in English on a piece of paper.
  5. Watch a video about Things To Do And Not To Do During Chinese New Year.  Click here.  List everything introduced in the video in English on a piece of paper.  Don't forget to write down the reasons why Chinese people do and don't do those things in English also.
  6. Watch a video about Things To Eat And Not To Eat During Chinese New Year.  Click here.  List all foods introduced in the video in English on a piece of paper.  Don't forget to write down the reasons why Chinese people eat and don't eat those things in English as well. 
On Thursday, you should have 5 papers (typed or handwritten) with information placed on your desk.  Also, be ready to answer some questions about Chinese zodiac.

Please bring scissors, glue stick and tape to class on Thursday.
